Travel in Europe, a facsinating continent with a diverse countries full of history and culture. With so many places to visit a good idea is to do an overland tour which can also be a great way to meet new people. Inter-railing is popular with students on a summer break but hitchhiking around Europe isn't recommended. There are a wide range of meaningful travel opportunities in Europe, a visit the UK, Germany and France is highly recommended. In winter you could go skiing in the Alps and find work in Europe at ski resorts. In summer you could take part in Europe volunteer programs which include community programs, conservation projects and orphanage work. On a Europe gap year, you might want to consider teaching in Czech Republic or visiting Eastern Europe and travelling down the beautiful Croatian coast.
